California High School Basketball - Foothill nips Laguna Creek

Foothill Falcons (Henderson, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 66-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Dougherty Valley won 60-58 in their recent non-league bout against Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Modesto Christian Crusaders (Modesto, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Laguna Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 68-61 non-league win over Vanden (Fairfield, CA).
