Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX) and the host Rice Bulldogs (Rice, TX), saw Frost's basketball squad hold off Rice by a count of 51-47.

With the victory, Frost upgrades its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Aquilla (Aquilla, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2.
