The Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Maple River Eagles to 61 in the Chargers league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a A Section 2 contest on Friday, January 5.

The Eagles (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Ellendale (Ellendale, ND). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Ellendale edged Lisbon (Lisbon, ND), 57-50, in a non-league contest.
