Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnesota Valley Lutheran tops St. Clair
January 18, 2024: St. Clair, MN 56080 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) and the host St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN), saw Minnesota Valley Lutheran's basketball squad knock off St. Clair by a count of 73-64.
With the victory, Minnesota Valley Lutheran upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN) to play the Buccaneers in a AA Section 2 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Blue Earth lost 80-60 in their recent league challenge against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN)
Next up, the Cyclones play the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) in a AA Section 2 challenge, on Saturday, January 20. St. Clair will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 60-43 non-league win over Fairmont (Fairmont, MN).
