Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) and the visiting Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA), saw Ruston's basketball squad overcome Neville by a tally of 71-54.

With the victory, Ruston improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Franklin Parish lost 72-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Wossman (Monroe, LA)
