St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA), 62-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Thomas Aquinas upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Falcons host Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA) to play the Terriers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Vandebilt Catholic won 56-42 in their recent non-league bout against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA)

Next up, the Greenies play the Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Newman will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 56-42 non-league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA).
