Alaska High School Basketball - West Valley overwhelmed by Barrow
December 29, 2023: Fairbanks, AK 99709 The West Valley Wolf Pack basketball team (Fairbanks, AK), was overwhelmed 67-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK)
The Whalers now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain City Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 30. Barrow will confront a Lions team coming off a 79-48 non-league win over Tikigaq (Point Hope, AK). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
The Wolf Pack (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Malemutes come into the 4A Mid Alaska battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Lathrop trounced Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK), 54-5, in a non-league battle.
