The North Mustangs basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Central Bobcats to 51 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alhambra for a 6A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 9. North will battle a Lions team coming off a 65-16 non-league loss to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.

The Bobcats (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars enter the 5A Metro contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, South Mountain triumphed over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ), 48-46, in a non-league contest.
