The New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), 44-30 in Friday's non-league test.

The Trojans (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS). The Wildcats go into the 5A Region 1 test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Clarksdale notched a victory over Raymond (Raymond, MS), 41-35, in a non-league test.
