Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) and the host Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS), saw West Point's basketball squad hold off Itawamba Agricultural by a count of 43-38.

With the victory, West Point upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Aberdeen lost 61-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Houston (Houston, MS)
