Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Seneca Valley nudges Shady Side Academy
December 29, 2023: Harmony, PA 16037 In Friday's non-league outing, the Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA), by a count of 52-47.
The Raiders (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Butler (Butler, PA). The Golden Tornado go into the WPIAL 6A 1 outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Butler was tipped by Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA), 56-49, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Apollo Ridge for a WPIAL 3A 3 outing on Tuesday, January 2. Shady Side Academy will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 39-21 non-league loss to Riverview (Oakmont, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-4.
