The South Aiken Thoroughbreds basketball team (Aiken, SC), was toppled 55-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA)

The Bulldogs now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenn Hills for a AA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Thomson will confront a Spartans team coming off a 69-50 league loss to Laney (Augusta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-3.

The Thoroughbreds (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Yellow Jackets come into the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 10-4 record.
