Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA), 87-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Thomson upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA) to play the Spartans in a AA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 26. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Glenn Hills lost 65-56 in their recent league bout against Laney (Augusta, GA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) in a AA Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 26. Westside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The War Eagles come into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 52-44 league loss to Butler (Augusta, GA).
