December 29, 2023: Salinas, CA 93905 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA) and the visiting Marina Mariners (Marina, CA), saw Alisal's basketball squad overcome Marina by a tally of 65-54.
With the victory, Alisal improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA) to confront the Sharks in a challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. St. Francis lost 76-35 in their recent non-league challenge against San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA)
Next up, the Mariners confront the Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Marina will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 72-31 non-league loss to Mountain View (Mountain View, CA).
