December 29, 2024: Big Lake, AK 99652 In Sunday's non-league contest, the visiting Metlakatla Chiefs basketball team scored a good 59-43 win over the Houston Hawks.
The Chiefs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wrangell (Wrangell, AK). The Wolves come into the 2A Southeast contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Wrangell was topped by Metlakatla (Metlakatla, AK), 53-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Christian Patriots (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 2. Houston will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 61-42 non-league win over Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).
