New York High School Basketball - Nazareth holds off Iona Prep
December 29, 2024: Brooklyn, NY 11203 In Sunday's non-league contest, the host Nazareth Kingsmen basketball team scored a close 59-58 triumph over the Iona Prep Gaels.
The Kingsmen (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Canarsie (Brooklyn, NY). The Wolfpack go into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Canarsie nipped St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA), 70-62, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gaels confront the Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Iona Prep will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record.
