The Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) basketball crushed the visiting Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA), 72-34 in Sunday's non-league bout.

The Sachems now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Winthrop for a Northeastern - Small bout on Thursday, January 2. Saugus will play a Vikings team coming off a 67-59 non-league loss to Ipswich (Ipswich, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-6.
