December 29, 2024: Cynthiana, KY 41031 The Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) basketball crushed the host Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), 59-34 in Sunday's non-league bout.
The Generals now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Lexington Christian for a District 43 bout on Friday, January 3. Lafayette will play a Eagles team coming off a 64-26 non-league win over Durant (Plant City, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Harrison County falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Thorobreds host Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Mercer County lost 65-26 in their recent non-league bout against Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY)
