Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County bests Harrison County
January 28, 2025: Carlisle, KY 40311 The Nicholas County Bluejackets basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds to 43 in the Bluejackets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bluejackets now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pendleton County for a District 38 game on Friday, January 31. Nicholas County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 67-12 league win over Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, Harrison County falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Thorobreds host Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 16-4. Lexington Christian lost 51-45 in their recent league game against Lafayette (Lexington, KY)
