The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) and the host Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY), observed Harrison County's basketball team knock off Augusta by a score of 42-32.

The Thorobreds (14-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 38 challenge with a 14-15 record. In their last challenge, Pendleton County was knocked off by Bracken County (Brooksville, KY), 44-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) in a District 39 challenge, on Monday, February 24. Augusta will attempt to improve on its 11-17 season record. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a 19-10 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY).
