Texas High School Basketball - Canyon can't hold off Frenship
December 3, 2021: Canyon, TX 79015 The Frenship Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Canyon Eagles to 44 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palo Duro for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Frenship will battle a Dons team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX). The Dons record now stands at 6-0.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Panhandle was nudged by Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX), 62-48, in a non-league contest.
