Texas High School Basketball - Frenship nips Monterey
December 30, 2021: Wolfforth, TX 79382 Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX), 71-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Frenship upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Odessa (Odessa, TX) to play the Bronchos in a non-league bout on Friday, December 31. The Bronchos go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Odessa won 67-60 in their recent non-league bout against Estacado (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Plainsmen play the Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 30. Monterey will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 76-67 non-league win over Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV).
