The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Carson Senators to 42 in the Miners non-league triumph on Friday.

The Miners now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reed for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Nevada Union will meet a Raiders team coming off a 69-46 non-league win over River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Carson moves to 1-3 on the year. The Senators host Forest Lake Christian (Auburn, CA) to face the Falcons in a non-league game on Saturday, December 4. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 0-2. Forest Lake Christian lost 78-43 in their recent non-league game against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA)
