The Nevada Union Miners basketball team (Grass Valley, CA), dropped 63-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV)

The Raiders now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galena for a 5A North battle on Tuesday, December 7. Reed will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 67-60 non-league win over San Marin (Novato, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-3.
