Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL) and the host Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL), saw Handley's basketball squad hold off Central of Clay County by a tally of 60-55.

With the victory, Handley improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Munford (Munford, AL) to confront the Lions in a 4A Area 9 challenge on Monday, December 6. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Munford lost 56-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL)
