December 3, 2021: Dixon, IL 61021 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) and the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL), saw Dixon's basketball squad overcome Genoa-Kingston by a tally of 51-37.
With the victory, Dixon improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Dukes & Duchesses host Marengo (Marengo, IL) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 6. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Marengo won 41-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the Cogs confront the Rock Falls Rockets (Rock Falls, IL) in a Big Northern contest, on Tuesday, December 7. Genoa-Kingston will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Rockets come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 48-43 league loss to Byron (Byron, IL).
