Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Cougars (Salina, KS), 53-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Eisenhower (Goddard, KS) to play the Tigers in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Eisenhower won 32-24 in their recent non-league bout against North (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Cougars play the Buhler Crusaders (Buhler, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. South will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 87-27 non-league loss to Nickerson (Nickerson, KS).
