In Saturday's non-league outing, the Hay Springs Hawks (Hay Springs, NE) basketball squad felled the visiting Arthur County Wolves (Arthur, NE), by a margin of 52-41.

The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Morrill (Morrill, NE). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Morrill was beaten by Leyton (Dalton, NE), 47-30, in a non-league outing.
