In Thursday's league outing, the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cody, NE) basketball squad nipped the host Hay Springs Hawks (Hay Springs, NE), by a margin of 46-44.

The Cowboys/Cowgirls (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Hitchcock County was tipped by Alma (Alma, NE), 56-48, in a non-league outing.
