Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX), 65-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Kempner upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Needville (Needville, TX) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Needville lost 75-68 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX)

Next up, the Falcons play the Angleton Christian Warriors (Angleton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Royal will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 45-42 non-league loss to Brazoswood (Clute, TX).
