Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Notre Dame-Green Pond knocked off by Pocono Mountain West
December 3, 2022: Pocono Summit, PA 18346 The Pocono Mountain West Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders to 45 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Stroudsburg North for a Mountain Valley contest on Tuesday, December 6. Pocono Mountain West will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 85-75 non-league loss to Dallas (Dallas, PA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-1.
The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Northern Lehigh was defeated by Hamburg (Hamburg, PA), 68-25, in a non-league contest.
