The Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) basketball knocked off the host West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA), 75-61 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Vinton-Shellsburg went down by West Delaware (Manchester, IA), 65-36, in a non-league test.
