Texas High School Basketball - Ford overwhelmed by Dodd City
December 3, 2022: Dodd City, TX 75438 The Dodd City Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Ford Panthers to 19 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hornets now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ector for a 1A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, December 6. Dodd City will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-11 non-league loss to Bland (Merit, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-9.
The Panthers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Spring Hill triumphed over Ore City (Ore City, TX), 60-12, in a non-league contest.
