December 3, 2022: Toulon, IL 61483 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) and the host Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), saw Kewanee's basketball squad overcome Stark County by a tally of 51-43.
With the victory, Kewanee improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Boilermakers travel to Princeton (Princeton, IL) to confront the Tigers in a Three Rivers - East challenge on Monday, December 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Princeton won 42-41 in their recent league challenge against Hall (Spring Valley, IL)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Monday, December 5. Stark County will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 24-22 league loss to Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL).
