Illinois High School Basketball - Brimfield nips Kewanee
January 14, 2023: Kewanee, IL 61443 Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL), 47-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brimfield upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Geneseo (Geneseo, IL) to play the Maple Leafs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Maple Leafs go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Geneseo won 49-22 in their recent non-league bout against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL)
Next up, the Boilermakers play the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Kewanee will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 49-22 non-league loss to Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
