Illinois High School Basketball - Eureka nudges Brimfield
December 12, 2022: Brimfield, IL 61517 Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL), 41-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eureka upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Hornets host Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Mahomet-Seymour won 42-21 in their recent non-league bout against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats (Cuba, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Thursday, December 22. Brimfield will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
