Illinois High School Basketball - Eureka nudges Illini Bluffs
February 6, 2023: Eureka, IL 61530 In Monday's non-league outing, the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) basketball squad nipped the visiting Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL), by a margin of 47-42.
The Hornets (22-7) will now prepare for their outing against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints go into the non-league outing with a 20-10 record. In their last outing, Bloomington Central Catholic got by Rantoul (Rantoul, IL), 76-44, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 17-12 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 8. Illini Bluffs will clash with a Farmers squad coming off a 67-36 league loss to Lewistown (Lewistown, IL). The Farmers record now stands at 7-20.
