Illinois High School Basketball - Mendon Unity can't hold off Quincy Notre Dame
December 3, 2022: Quincy, IL 62301 The Quincy Notre Dame Raiders basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Mendon Unity Mustangs to 53 in the Raiders league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Bridge for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 4. Quincy Notre Dame will battle a Bruins team coming off a 55-47 non-league loss to Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS). The Bruins record now stands at 1-1.
The Mustangs (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Seymour (Payson, IL). The Indians enter the contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Seymour was nudged by Hamilton (West Hancock, IL), 68-27, in a league contest.
