Illinois High School Basketball - Roxana crushes Metro-East Lutheran

December 3, 2022: Roxana, IL 62084

Roxana Shells (Roxana, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), 43-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roxana upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Shells host Staunton (Staunton, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Staunton won 53-21 in their recent non-league bout against Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL)

Next up, the Knights play the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors (Marissa, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Metro-East Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Meteors go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 37-30 league loss to Dupo (Dupo, IL).
