New Mexico High School Basketball - West Mesa overwhelms Capital
December 3, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), saw West Mesa's basketball squad wallop Capital by a tally of 70-40.
With the victory, West Mesa improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Cibola won 74-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Jaguars play the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Capital will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
