Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) and the host Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN), saw River Forest's basketball squad hold off Wheeler by a tally of 38-31.

With the victory, River Forest improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Ingots travel to DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 5. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. DeMotte Christian won 47-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN)
