The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) and the host Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), observed A.C. Reynolds's basketball team edge Freedom by a score of 73-70.

The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Myers Park was tipped by Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 85-81, in a non-league challenge.
