Illinois High School Basketball - South Beloit overwhelms Christian Liberty
December 3, 2024: South Beloit, IL 61080 The South Beloit Sobos basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Christian Liberty Chargers to 27 in the Sobos league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sobos now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Alden-Hebron for a Northeastern game on Friday, December 6. South Beloit will confront a Green Giants team coming off a 75-31 non-league loss to LaMoille (LaMoille, IL). The Green Giants record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Christian Liberty falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL) to confront the Eagles in a Northeastern game on Friday, December 6. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-4. Westlake Christian Academy lost 72-36 in their recent non-league game against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL)
