The Westlake Christian Academy Eagles basketball squad (Grayslake, IL), was nudged 49-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Christian Liberty Chargers (Arlington Heights, IL)

With the victory, Christian Liberty advances its record to 15-7 on the year. The Chargers travel to Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL) to meet the Conquering Riders in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Conquering Riders enter the battle with a record of 15-5. Arthur-Okaw Christian won 58-28 in their recent non-league battle against Lake County Baptist (Waukegan, IL)

The Eagles now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to State Line Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. Westlake Christian Academy will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 51-44 league loss to Lakecrest Baptist (Waterford, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 7-3.
