Texas High School Basketball - Elgin fells Lake Belton
December 3, 2024: Elgin, TX 78621 The Elgin Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Lake Belton Broncos to 47 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Burges for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Elgin will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 63-50 non-league win over Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Lake Belton falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Austin Royals HomeSchool (Austin, TX) to confront the Royals in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5.
