Michigan High School Basketball - Munising overwhelms Gwinn
December 3, 2024: Munising, MI 49862 The Munising Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Gwinn Modeltowners to 39 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Stephenson for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Munising will play a Eagles team coming off a 60-26 non-league loss to North Central (Powers, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Gwinn falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Modeltowners travel to Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI) to play the Hematites in a Mid-Peninsula game on Wednesday, December 11. The Hematites go into the game with a record of 1-1. Ishpeming lost 67-59 in their recent non-league game against Gladstone (Gladstone, MI)
