February 19, 2025: Escanaba, MI 49829 The Escanaba Eskymos basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Gwinn Modeltowners to 31 in the Eskymos non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eskymos now possess a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Gladstone for a Great Northern U.P. game on Friday, February 21. Escanaba will confront a Braves team coming off a 67-43 non-league loss to Westwood (Ishpeming, MI). The Braves record now stands at 6-15.
With the loss, Gwinn falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Modeltowners host Stephenson (Stephenson, MI) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 15-6. Stephenson won 85-33 in their recent non-league game against Mid Peninsula (Rock, MI)
