Oklahoma High School Basketball - Roland holds off Sequoyah
December 3, 2024: Tahlequah, OK 74464 The Roland Rangers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Sequoyah Indians to 57 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rangers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Quinton for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Roland will confront a Savages team coming off a 54-48 non-league loss to Wilburton (Wilburton, OK). The Savages record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Sequoyah falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Kellyville (Kellyville, OK) to meet the Ponies in a non-league battle on Friday, December 6. The Ponies enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Kellyville won 79-38 in their recent non-league battle against Stroud (Stroud, OK)
