The Western Boone Stars basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Speedway Sparkplugs to 42 in the Stars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Stars now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-West Hendricks for a Sagamore game on Friday, December 6.

With the loss, Speedway falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Sparkplugs host Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN) to confront the Hornets in a Indiana Crossroads game on Friday, December 6. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 1-2. Beech Grove won 61-51 in their recent non-league game against Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN)
