The Canyon Springs Pioneers basketball squad (North Las Vegas, NV), was outscored 56-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV)

With the victory, Desert Oasis advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Diamondbacks host Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Grizzlies in a 5A Southern battle on Thursday, December 5. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a record of 1-1. Spring Valley won 49-44 in their recent non-league battle against Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV)

The Pioneers now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del Sol for a 4A Desert battle on Thursday, December 5. Canyon Springs will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 69-12 non-league win over Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV). The Dragons record now stands at 1-0.
